    common sites of arterial embolism

    common sites of arterial embolism: lower extremities (most common and what I chose); Looked it up in Goljan's Rapid Review... and he says the same thing with brain via the middle cerebral artery, small bowel via superior mesenteric artery, spleen, and kidneys;

    any other opinions??
