    What is transudate?

    tell me 3 disease that will present trasudate






    1- is a noninflammatory edema fluid that results from alterd intravascular hydrostatic or osmotic preassure, has low protein content



    2- CHF
    Nephrotic syndrome
    Cirrosis

    does this cause pitting edema?




    No, exudate causes the pitting edema which mainly occurs in the interstitial space; if the pitting edema occurs in the legs, it's decreased oncotic pressure;

    more abt:
    it contains albumin as protein type (in others all type of protein).
    absence of fibrin
    low specific gravity
    +ve revalta test
    vascular permeability =normal
