    Ultrasound/fetal development

Using an ultrasound, how early can a doctor tell if a fetus is developing properly and whether it can be safely carried to term without having severe developmental problems, deformities or be still born.

There's an app for that: you can use FetalGrowth for iPhone/iPad input the fetal weight as estimated by US and check if it's around 50%- centile, which is normal or higher than 90-centile (too big) or less than 10th centile which would mean small for gestation age. App works for both simpleton an twins pregnancies and uses fully customized growth models making it quite accurate!
