I think I'm having another miscarriage - HELP!!

    Advertisements

My husband and i have been trying to have a baby for 7 or 8 months now. In March i took a pregnancy test and it was a faint positive. A few days later i miscarried. A month later i had a normal/ light period. A month later i was late. We weren't "trying" that month - my math was off by a few days and i had'nt kept track of everything like i was b4. Sure enough, i took a test and it was a faint positive. I took another test 2 days later and it was very positive. As far as i know i'm 9 weeks along. We were all so excited- including our 3 year old daughter.

I haven't been to the doctor yet b/c my Medicaid "agent" is taking her time on approving me!

Last night i noticed some brown spotting when i peed/ wiped. This morning the spotting continued and continued throughout the day - but it's been very light. My stomach has been lightly cramping all day as well. A few hours ago i noticed a tiny bit of red blood with the brown blood when i wiped. There aren't any clots that i know of. Some of the drops seem heavy when i pee and i cant tell if they are small clots or not. When it happened the 1st time, i spotted the night b4 and when i woke up the next morning i was in SO much pain and bled a LOT w/ a lot of clots. This time it's been light but consistent.

I dont drink alcohol or caffeine, i dont smoke, i'm a healthy weight (5'9" and about 127 lbs), I've been taking prenatal vitamins along with a fish oil vitamin for 7 months now - i'm doing everything i should. The only thing i can connect the 2 with were lifting something somewhat heavy. The night b4 my last miscarriage, my 3 year old wanted to be held an extra lot - which i read it was fine to carry her that early on into the pregnancy. Then last night i picked up my puppy to put her in the bath tub then once again to lift her over a baby gate. She's not full grown but is pretty solid. Could that be why i miscarried? I'm not even sure that i'm having a miscarriage right now, but something doesnt feel right! Or could it possibly be the fish oil vitamin? Since i could possibly be having a 2nd miscarriage - could that mean something is wrong with me? I know theres no way of knowing that w/o tests but i was wondering if something is more common?

If i dont miscarry, could there potentially be something wrong with my baby?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!! I'm doing everything i can to get into the doctor ASAP. I just know it's going to be at least another week b4 i can get in b/c of the medicaid office.

I'm sure the moderators will be along shortly to let you know that posters on this site won't be able to help you and that you should see your doctor.

I do empathise with you, it must be very frustrating to wait on the system.

    All the best.

Im very sorry to hear this is happening to you.
But this forum is for people preparing for the USMLE exams and most of the users are medical students and not train with a residency to give you the best advise.

I will have you in my prayers
