I swore into the Army National Guard August 30 and I'm going to become a "Health Specialist"(Combat Medic). I'm looking to forward my education and within the next 7 years earn my PhD in Nero. One of the main reasons for joining the military, other than my own patriotism, is that they are paying 100% of my tuition for 2 years. They gave me the impression that I would go to a 4 year college paid for. I found out at M.E.P.S that they would pay for 2 years while I was active. I'm signed up for 8 years, 2 years inactive(which they won't pay for). Any advice, personal experience, or even partial knowledge would be great.
