    Salaries

I heard that ND's can make as much as MD's. Is this true? Also, are Naturopathic Medicine programs easier to get into than traditional med school?

Im an ND student right now. Unless you have attended nd medical school, none of you have the right to make uneducated completey biased subjective OPINIONS. My undergraduate science gpa is 3.98. I didnt choose ND school out of default because i could not get into allopathic or osteopathic med school. I was offerred a spot in a D.O. school. I chose ND school because of the amazing recovery of patients in clinic. Patients that allopathic medicine could no longer help. There is a place for naturopathic medicine. It is a specialty like any other. And for the record. Med school is hella hard. Our curriculum is exactly the same as one allopathic and 2 osteopathic medical schools in the nearby towns. We are all in a med student club together and talk. We help each other with tutorials and web sites etc. So for those of you who think its easy think again. We dont just study herbs. We learn the causes of things and treat the cause by giving the body what it needs to heal. And fyi, i know personally nds that have clinics grossing over a million a year. We dont get jobs spoon fed to us. We live in communities and stay there. We live and die by our reputations. Something my md and do counterparts seldom do. They job hop from clinic to clinic, town to town. Being an nd is what you make of it! If md and dos had to start there own clnic out of med school...make no mistake, things would be dramatically different for their career paths.and not being able to work in a hospital is a lame attack on NDs. My allopathic medical doctor doesnt see me when im in the hospital. Do your research..a specialty called "hospitalists" do that now. And again fyi, when i need stitches my allopathic med dr sends me to the Emergency department where a Emergency doctor gives me stiches...again another specialty. I have seen patients in wheelchairs in extended care facilities come to our office after being thrown away by the allopathic community, recover dramatically after finding the MEDICAL problem and giving the body what it needed to heal, not only recover enough to get out of the wheelchair, but move back home independent of a nursing home and is traveling extensively with friends all over the country and abroad. I have seen forst hand this medicine work. All you do mr md is prescribe pils. Pills with side affects. And yes, we too prescribe those same pills as a last resort. Im in a licensed nd state. We are primary care DOCTORS.
