    PreMed Jan 2017!

    Advertisements

I just got accepted for the January 2017 premed! Wanted to see who else is starting next year and if anyone wants to connect!

Questions for anyone who has gone through the premed program

Is arriving the day before orientation to soon? should I give myself more time to unpack/find my way around ?

The packing list states small appliances (hot plate, kettle, ect) how much of that is actually necessary ?

    Thanks !

I am applying to the premed program, the requirements for the program are rather hard to find anywhere, is the minimum a high school degree to be considered?

I had the same problem finding the reqs. however, you do need a minimum of 60 post-secondary credits

I am finishing premed this semester.

Arriving the day before should be fine, for my first premed semester I came 3 days early and was really bored. I didnt know anyone or how to get around, after orientation day, you meet people and kind of figure out how things work here.

As far as the appliances go. It really depends on what you prefer to have. Buying those things down here is more expensive than back home. However there are always students selling stuff here if you really want things like that for a decent price. I personally did not bring any appliances with me as the place I moved in to had a full kitchen.

Did you stay at the dormitory? Or do you at least know if they a descent or not?
