2001 yamah wr425 dirt bike for sale--Price Reduced

    Advertisements

    Hi there,
I thought it would never happen and the feeling hasn't sunk in yet but Iím donnneee, no more classes eveeeeeeerrrrrrr. So itís time to sell some of my stuff.

For sale I have a 2001 Yamaha dirt bike. I shipped the bike from Toronto to Nevis about 6 months ago to have some fun for my last two semesters on the island. And what can I say it was a blast.
The bike is a 450cc and itís very powerful. It can go up any road and pass all the cars that they have here. Its a 5 speed manual with a kick start (so it has NO battery and you donít have to worry about changing it)

    Included in the price are:
    Helmet
    Lock/alarm
    Bike cover
    2 spare tubes

Bike is currently located in Nevis but I can ship it to St. Kitts on Friday 7th of December. A day before I leave the island. If you are interested to get it sooner however you are welcome to come here and take it home with you.

It cost me $4500 to bring the bike here, so I think $3500 is a fair price to sell it at.

If you are interested or have any questions/Pictures Txt me @ 765-8240 thatís a Nevis number. Thanks

    Hey,
I have the same bike, how fund and useful it would for Nevis. A bit finicky though, unless you know exactly how to work on them, particularly the fuel system. If you dont' always start it just right, it can be a nightmare concerning reliability.

well to be honest with you the only problem i had was right after buying the bike and that was i didn't know how to start it. I didnt know how to use the compression lever correctly. Once i learned the trick, ive had no problems since i brought the bike here ( i start it with slippers on now, lol in toronto you get shot for doing that). I haven't had a problem with fuel system so i don't how easy or hard it is to fix it. There are a couple of locals here that can service the bike if anything comes up.
Now would i think it would be useful here, well it totally depends on you. There are some nice offroad tracks both here and on st kitts that i had a lot of fun on. Its cheap on gas and it can go up all the messed up roads that they have here. I love riding and the weather is nice so for me i enjoyed every second of it. There are some rainy days that you wish you had a car but thats only 1% of the time. I dont know if you already live here or not but the best advise that i can give you if you haven't lived here is to just come here for a semester see how everything is then decide to ship your bike here or not. Your only major hassle would be dealing with customs.

I was a student there up until Aug 2008. Yes, my experience with mine is that If I do it right, which isn't very hard to learn, it starts easily. No doubt it would be fun, useful, economical. Good luck on selling it. Someone will have a nice bike.
