    Then again in Detroit Airport
then again in Nevis. AAAAAHHHH, thats atleast 3 times of zipping an unzipping luggage, and most likely they will ask me to boot my laptop up they did that to me before at Detroit Airport.

This is gonna be kinda stressful booooooo :S
Well then, you might wanna use clear see through plastic containers. Just be sure your mentionables are tucked in somewhere that cant be seen!.......lol

    Hi
Could someone suggest an cheaper alternative to my predicament.

I talked to Tropical shipping here in toronto.they charge 189USD min. for 25 cubic ft.If somoene in the area wants to send something, maybe i can share the cost. The only problem is that it has to be at the warehouse by tomorrow (wed) at noon time.If i find someone,i dono if i am going to send it.This shipment will get there by 8th jan. after this, all shipments get there after 8.

I will also be crossing the border and flying from JFK.This luggage checking is going to be a hassle.

I’m not sure about how possible some of the things you mention would be, but there is one setting that may interest you, if you haven’t seen it already

Liat does fly to nevis, 1 time a day from Antigua check out there website for more details. Most students arrive in st kitts and then a ferry to Nevis, cost $10 US from the airport to the ferry dock, and between 8-10 US for a ferry ticket, varies with the ferry running at that time. Typically takes about an hour.

    DR. MC

Please use google earth and copy in the coordinates
below if you wish to see an ariel view.

The St Kitts Airport is located at: 17°18'40.23"N 62°42'50.87"W

The St Kitts Ferry Dock is located in Basseterre, at
    17°17'36.74"N 62°43'33.70"W

The distance from the airport to the ferry terminal is aprox. 2 miles A taxi cost $10 US, split it with other students, most likely there will be others on your flight.

The ferry dock in Nevis is located in Charlestown:
    17° 8'19.62"N 62°37'50.75"W

From ferry dock to ferry dock is aprox 12.3 miles and takes about and hour. The cost for the ferry is aprox 8-10 US one way. Also get your port fee ticket, thats $1 EC or 27 cents US

The school is located at: 17°11'35.80"N 62°33'40.58"W this is a very old picture on google earth, clowdy, and several buildings missing.

From Nevis ferry dock to the school is aprox 9 miles, transportation for new students is normally provided, as long as you have notified the school of your arrival times.

For further information you can google st kitts maps or nevis maps you will find island road maps on a few sites.

Hope this helps, looking forward to you arriving.
