Do MUA students have to take CCSE before taking STEP2?

Is it true that MUA students have to take a school-administered exam called the Comprehensive Clinical Science Exam (CCSE) BEFORE being allowed to take STEP2?

This just seems like another way for the school to weed the students out. Can anyone confirm this?

It is YOU! Like I said, if you don't like MUA then don't go. Are your parents forcing your or something? You've been talking badly about MUA since day one and we haven't even started. Gotta be honest with you I don't think you even wanna become a doctor. Your parents are forcing you which is why you not only told us about how "MUA sucks" you're on this message board spreading your negativity as well. Be honest with yourself...

It's clear you don't wanna be a doctor. Your parents are forcing you.
You'll be miserable and unhappy once we do start because this isn't what you wanna do.

I am just doing my diligence and trying to research this school and so far my research is suggesting that it is a very bad school.

If you are going to MUA, I suggest you do the same because the numbers are not adding up.

Like I said, it's clear you don't wanna be a doctor. People who come to MUA couldn't get into a USA school or the other Caribbean schools rejected them/too expensive. It's clear this isn't something YOU wanna do. Is your family forcing you to become a doctor?

You're gonna be very miserable in MED1 and most likely fail out because like I said your family can't be the ones who want this. YOU have to be the one that wants this.

That's big talk for someone who attends a school like MUA. Instead of resorting to personal attacks, why don't you see if you can graduate first and then get back to me. I bet you won't lol.

LOL. You are SO miserable. And you haven't even started MUA yet. Too much of a little boy to tell mommy and daddy you don't wanna be a doctor. How will they feel when their little son failed MED1 and they need to pay back 20K?

Like I said, pursue YOUR OWN DREAMS little boy NOT YOUR PARENT'S DREAMS.

    I'm trying to help you.

I don't think this type of commentary will instill confidence in any applicant or parent who is researching this school. Now if you want to make a fool of yourself despite that, go right ahead.

Why are you pursuing your parent's dreams?

    What about what YOU want?

You think I'm "attacking" you. I'm really trying to help YOU. Why are your pushing something YOU don't want?

All I wanted to know was how many people start at MUA and how many graduate in four years. I don't know why all of these people can't answer that very simple question.

I think they can't answer it because the number is probably not very good at all.

    https://studentaid.gov/sites/default...y-americas.pdf

All foreign schools that receive US government FAFSA loans, MUST report their statistics of US citizens/permanent residents.

Per the above document 47% of MUA students graduated within 4 years in 2017. (Keep in mind MUA has a fair number of Canadians as well who aren't part of these stats)

Not surprising at all. From my understanding its only gotten worse since 2017 with the addition of the RLRA, CCSE and more roadblocks.

The school is only weeding out people who likely would have been unsuccessful anyways.
