    MUA Health Insurance

    Advertisements

What is the cheapest possible option for the required Health Insurance for clinical rotations? I am hoping to pay <$50. I am a Canadian student.
Thanks in advance for any help!

lol sorry I meant 50/month. Got some quotes for about 60/month. Would that be considered reasonable?

I think so. that is like $600 a year. that is not bad. If you actually use it you will expect to pay a lot because that coverage likely covers very little. I went for the cheapest and hoped I didn't need to use it.

As of 2008, you could not pay for healthcare at the Nevis hospital/clinic. Our son had to go there for a broken leg, and there was no charge (socialized med). But we did see a PCP doc who was a teacher at the school, good doc, equaled about 40$/visit. Therfore I would get a reasonable catastrophic only policy, which I think all the policies were at that time.
    MUA finished.

In modern times, you can find information about insurance online, on the website of the insurance company. But if you are a student from Canada, then you need to find out if your insurance is valid in the United States. Also, as a student, you can contact university staff or Experts with many years of experience will help you. Also, when you go to study in another country, you are provided with a list of documents, where they can indicate the recommended firms for paperwork.
