    Accepted January 2016

    Hey guys!

Just starting a new thread to get in touch with people who are planning on starting at MUA in Jan 2016 (regardless of whether you have heard back about your acceptance)! A lot of us are going there and don't know anyone else so it would be awesome to get to know other students starting around the same time!

Looking forward to hearing from y'all!

Thanks, for clarifying that, AH1193! What did you study in Grad school?

That's true, there isn't much to do, I got that from the pictures. Hopefully, I'll be able to discover something better at the end of the 1st semester!

    Anytime, Hermoine!

UPDATE: I just spoke to Daniel Reese from the Financial Aid Department this morning. She said they will begin to work on our FAFSA and GradPlus Loans in Mid October - End of October. We should receive an email in regards to any other required forms etc during that time!

Oh Perfect!!! I was wondering what was going on in Financial Aid. Ill look out for that e mail and keep anyone posted if I get one first. So excited to meet you all.

I studied Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics in Grad School. We all know that dietary intake plays a major role in the baseline of current and future health, so I decided to earn a Masters in it to use in my future as a practicing Physician. Ironically, they have now added a 2 nutrition courses to the Med school curriculum
lol. But as far as housing, if I don't find anything soon enough, ill end up in the dorm as well, for one semester.

That sounds very interesting and will probably give you relevant insight into the courses! We should all form a study group, bringing in different perspectives into studying always helps in better understanding!

dorms arent bad, pretty good actually.. rent ranges 550-1150/month (not including elec) in apartments closer to campus... I think mua admin staff assign you/help you get your housing. just do the dorm form. the earlier you pay your tuition fee, the more likely you are to get what you want. admin will also give you a link with a list of available housing (Aside from dorms). so you can indicate any certain place you prefer via email (if you dont want dorm). good luck

That's good to know! For the dorms do students just make a one time payment of $1,874 (for double occupancy, as stated on MUA dormitory website)? Would you know if students stay there for longer than 1 semester? I think the main concern regarding the dorms is that there isn't really a place to cook. I remember reading something about meal plans?
