I contacted the Financial Aid office and they said they will contact all the accepted students early July. I am also waiting on that part to decide further on tuition and living situation.
Hey guys, got accepted into 2015 premed and just wondering when I can more seriously look around for apartments. I've got some good leads out, but when will we have access to financial aid? Right now, that's the limiting step in securing housing. It seems everything on my end for financial aid through FAFSA is done and I think I'm just waiting now.
Any advice?

Well, don't worry, I'm right there with you. Lol. I just read on the MUA course catalog that you cannot request a loan until 60 days before the semester start date. So that would go right along with them opening up financial aid around the first week of July. What I would do though, is make sure your FASFA is already filled out for this year and be sure you add MUA to your list of schools.
What they told me regarding the deadline was that as long as I have completed my FAFSA, it will show that my status is waiting on student loans in their system. Therefore, I will not be affected by the late fee. It will still be really great to have all of this figure out soon since I will be living in their dorms for the first semester. Would like to know where exactly I will stay. Can't wait to start with you all! We got this!
Obtaining financial aid at the university is not available for everyone. You have to ensure that you fit all of the criteria before you apply for financial assistance. The requirements vary depending on the institution but the most common are: you or your family have low income; you're an orphan or half-orphan; you have some serious disabilities; you or someone from your family members are jobless/homeless at the moment of applying, etc. You must prove that you really deserve to get financial aid, not just because you wish so.
