    I'm accepted...Thank God.

My application to AUA is still pending. How do you feel about AUA?

I don't think I would do AUA. They were break aways from UHSA, which is an aweful school.

But, this is just MY opinion. MUA is a little older and acutally has people in residency positions, AUA doesn't. MUA has SABA to follow, which makes it easier for MUA to get somethings. AUA is just out there by itself.

Do your research. Go visit both schools/islands, it will be well worth the money.

    drdj5alive, respectful reconsideration

confident enough not to pause n cause a patient to lose his/her life! even as a psych, if u show i kid ur unsure, they get nervous n lose confidence in u - doctors r looked up to by their patients, so they should hold their head up high!

that's my piece for now, maybe i'll be back w/ more, depends on how many goats i can run down today!

We are all different...sometime's a pause show's a patient that you are actually taking time to be human and connect with them, and deeply consider how their question or need uniquely combines with their personality and circumstances for a very unique answer for them. I think if you go and read surveys about patient satisfaction with doctors, people appreciatge doctors who are on their level, showing human weakness, but extreme dedication to helping them. I know they show that doctors who are teachers and let patient's make their own decisions are highly appreciated. I would always give an opinion if it were black and white issue, but most medical issues and decisions, like the very human being, are not.

Thanks July. One thing I found weird in my interview was that I was asked all of the questions except for the question i expected and prepared for the most, which is Why do u want to be a doctor?

    Hey guys/gals!!!!
I just had my interview today and they said that jan class is full , but they intewrviewed me for May. They asked me the exact same questions and this was the best interview...so relaxed!!! So I am hoping that I will recieve my package soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. At the end, Elizabeth told me that it takes about 10-14 days for the acceptance letter to get to Canada!.....does it mean that I am in?

    thank you!!!!

Maiya, did they waitlist you for Jan?

Would like to know, because I called Tuesday, and they said Jan was not full, they were starting to waitlist for Jan, but many accepted January people had not sent in their 500$ depost, so spots will be opening. Did you get anything about that?

    Thanks
