    MUA Staff

    Hey Everyone,
I've been having a load of issues with a guy in the admissions office named Hein****. My brother had similar issues with him last year when considering this school. He is rude, arrogant, and very disrespectful. Is this common for this school? I had heard alot of good things, but reconsidering the school because of this fellow. Anyone have similar experiences?

Mr. H made my application process very smooth and pleasant. He was very patient in dealing with me.

Try giving him another shot. If you continue to feel the same way, it would save you many heartaches to learn that working with "rugged" people is the means to an end. Something you will do many times not only as a student but as a practitioner.

From my opinion, most (if not all) of the instructors and support team are very helpful.

The library staff is another issue as only 2 librarians were very helpful but the main librarian and other employees of the library are from my opinion, less motivated to work and are a bit inclined to feel that students owe them a great deal for their decision to show up to work. This is especially the case for the head librarian. So i would give the library staff a big F.

Computer services which include Mr. L and the other guy which has his office in the main building are remarkable. Mr. L (located in the library) literally saved me from complete failure as my computer crashed week before blocks. He never complains and always stops what hes doing to give you and your issue 100% attention. I had 100% trust and comfort in computer services.

Admin in the NEVIS office... well, I tried to stay away from them as much as I could. They did their job with a smile 80% of the time. So I guess they are just there doing what they need and nothing less nor more.

Admin in American office are thus far very helpful. Answer all my questions with one call. It a very productive relationship where we both do our part and the wheel turns smoothly. Im suprised about your having issues with Mr. T. I really enjoyed both his advice and accent.

Cafeteria... this is very controversial... i will let you find information on your own regarding this issue.

Overall, MUA has something you need in what i feel is of very good quality. The way its handed to you should not matter as much as what you do with it.

i wouldn't hold it against the school. I have had issues with random staff and administration treating me rudely. do your best to not take it personally.

I finished at MUA and now a resident in a very competitive specality. Sometimes along the way you will get treated like dirt no matter where you go, including north american schools. welcome to medicine. when you're the attending things get pretty sweet!!
