there's nothing good in nevis. you might as well knock your tooth out castaway style.
I had a deep cavity filled before heading to the island and now it appears the tooth is hurting again. My dentist told me I may need a root canal and so I wanted to know if there are good dentists on nevis or even st kitts so that I could get one done if the pain doesn't go away.
preferably modern equipment and well trained..
please let me know if anyone has been to any or have any recommendations
thanks

There is a good dentist on Nevis, but I can't remember his name. I had a few dental issues, and needed some fillings and I believe the school gave me his name. He is an older gentleman, I believe a former Navy dentist. His office is downtown charlestown, and I would ask administration if they have a way to contact him. when I was on Nevis, Dr Allerton's wife was the receptionist at the dental office.

I'm sorry, I just looked in my Outlook to see if I still had his name and number. Don't have it, but he was located in Charlestown, not far from the Scotia Bank. I'll try to get the number for you, as a previous professor's wife used to work for him. He was american. you may pm me if you still need to.
What would it cost to have a crown replaced in St. Kitts?
Dr. Clark is the dentist in Nevis. Carribean smiles is another place-really cheap and if you don't mind having tools that are never autoclaved and a self taught dental surgeon you may want to check it out.
Tony -- I am Dr. Allerton, now back in USA. The dentist you are looking for is Dr. James Stuart. His contact number is 469-0220. He is on government road, just up from Main Street about 500' -- just past the bend in the street where there is an intersection to the left. His office is in the 2nd building -- walk between the buildings, and his office is along the wall of the building on your left.
Best Wishes, And I would welcome your e-mail about what you are doing at MUA -- I was there from the second semester thru the first 9 years of the school's operation (2001-2009)
