    Visa issues for Non-Canadian/U.S. students

    Advertisements

I`m an incoming student to MUA for the September 2010 quarter. Because I`m a non-Canadian/U.S. citizen, I have to apply for an entry visa to Nevis. I submitted my eVisa on 5/30/10 and still haven`t received a decision yet.

    1. Is anyone else facing the same problem?
    2. How long does it take for approval?
    3. Can we enter without a visa and apply for one at the port of entry?

    Thank!

i am sort of having the same issue...i have dual citizenship and so i did apply for the evisa as a back up plan about 3days ago have already received an email of approval. The email states that i must bring the proper listed documents to be presented upon entry! So, try applying again, better yet go to the site and search for the app and see what it says for the status! hope this helps

My father is accompanying me to the island for orientation, the weird thing was...his application was approved the next day while mine is still pending!!! I think I`ll call them again on Monday. Islandtobe 14 I`m glad your visa is already approved.

The online one...the visa number is on there. I think for the actual hard copy you need to send in 2 photos, $100.00, and three bank statements. I think both eVisa and the hard copy are the same.

yes, you would need to apply for an evisa... you must have valid passport in hand and also date of travel...and then i think you'll worry about a student visa once you've arrived on campus...this is what i think...may be someone else can confirm! oh, when should u apply, well as soon as you have your passport and date of travel u should jst apply and get it over with!
