I just checked the weather forecast for this month on Nevis and it seems to rain pretty much everyday. When I vacationed in the USVI, it was always humid and it rained everyday but the rain would come and go quickly. Is that how it is on Nevis? I am only bringing an umbrella with me, hope that will suffice.

I read on the MUA site that there is no rain season, but short heavy showers are common from August to February.

It rains randomly at times, usually no more than like 15 mins. The sun will be shining afterwards, making it humid. An umbrella & a hoodie/jacket is enough (the classrooms can be cold). Also bring sunscreen & mosquito repellent.

On Dominica, I never minded the rain, it was actually kind of refreshing. It was the humidity afterwards that REALLY bothered me. It was so muggy you could barely breathe. You might want to bring a spare umbrella if you're the type that really hates getting wet. Good luck!
