I'm reading that Nevis electricity is 220. Is that like Europe? Also, are the plugs different (needing an adaptor?) Lastly, how expensive are electric bills on the island?

They use both 220 & 110 on the island. The dorms, houses, & campus use 110. You won't need an converter. Electricity bills depend on how much you use the AC (which is year-round). The company also changes the surcharge rate to. I usually pay less than US100 per month.
