    Cost of Living

    Hey can anyone give some estimates on what the cost of living on the island is like now a days. What is the avg. price of dsl/cable, phone, rent ect.

    Any info would be appreciated thanks

    Carib cable: $68/mo w/cable internet and TV
    Phone: pay as you go
    Rent: at least $375/mo (whether you room w/someone or live on your own)

    It's pretty expensive, and FYI, the prices above are in USD.

    those prices are right.
    I suppose it is pretty expensive or cheap depending on what you are comparing it to.

    For me the island is pretty cheap. some things I end up paying a lot more for but my totally monthly expenses are much less compared to what I spent before.

    My expenses run about the same they ran back in T.O. Although my rent is cheaper here but my grocery bill tends to run a bit on the higher side so that balances it out.
