I have said this before, but the third time is the charm for good.

I humbly apologize to Bewild for whatever transgression I have done, and I will try to do better.

To Dr John Webb I appreciate your posting how my heartfelt postings about how I feel about medicine and students are viewed by others. I never meant my posts to be self serving. The intention was to revive a reverence for the field which I fear is gone forever. I do feel I failed in what I was trying to do. For people to have perceived it as self promotion is even more painful. Medicine if done correctly is still a noble art and science

To all the students at MUA who promised to post I hope you do.

    I will never post again.

    Thanks to all

FOR ALL OF YOU URGING/PLEADING WITH ME NOT TO STOP POSTING, PLEASE STOP COMING BY THE OFFICE. I REALLY THINK IT BEST I AM NOT ON THE BOARD.

I think it is good when you give straight-forward and factual information to counteract the nonsense and unsubstantiated rumors often posted here. The attacks have become personal and that is an unfortunate consequence of web forums, like this. You need a hide tougher than an elephant's to survive in this web space (because some that post here have brains smaller than one and the manners of a jackal to boot.)

Dr. T, it remains your decision in the end and is well respected. As TonyND said, any students with genuine concerns will approach him anyway.
Once again, keep up the great work Dr. T - Trust me, my fellow class mates who don't even visit valuemd are happy in general with you. Do not let this negativity of a few posters here affect you in anyway although I have noticed a few people on VMD who were very skeptical in the beginning to have started liking you because your work is speaking for itself.
    Good luck!!!

    To Dean T

Dean T I am an incoming student in Sept., and I really appreciate you posting here. I just have to say I am proud to be coming to mua. I have learnt so much about what to expect and what not to expect just by reading your posts. For example, I got the Guyton book and will have read it cover to cover before Sept., so I can do well when it's time for me to take physio. You have made it clear that mua has its challenges, but I am so excited about the direction in which you are taking the school. So my point is, you are not only helping current students by being here, but also incoming and prospective students. I am so proud that mua has a dean that is so accessible to everyone, instead of having a phantom for a dean, who is locked away in some office somewhere hiding from students and dodging hard questions and real concerns. It seems to me that a few students may be upset with you for doing your job, and because of their personal short comings and failures, but such is life. I hope you will reconsider and keep posting.

    Dean T.,
I think it's great you post on this forum. It allows current and future students access to true, factual information. I think a few bad apples shouldn't get in the way of a positive thing. Some of these users are just bitter and ungrateful, and no matter what you do or say, you will never please them. It's your perogative to not post, but I think the fact you post on VMD is one of your many positive attributes.

It's really sad to see how things have turned out, this was a very valuable opportunity to get our concerns to the dean directly and more importantly remain anonymous during the whole thing......like it was said Dean T it is your decision and we sadly respect it........!
