Dean hires Lawyer for ValueMD slander?

    Advertisements

Can someone verify this bit of information. I heard the Dean came into a class and told everyone that he has hired a lawyer to deal with any slandering going on via this forum. If this is true, I am ROTF****. First try to get people to post positivie, if that doesnt work then try to make up a bunch of nonsense threads to coverup all the "negative" threads, and if that doesnt work, finally go and threaten people with legal actions. What is going on? and what is this Stricter moderation stuff about, and why are so many people banned. WOW!

NO the dean didn't hire a lawyer, he said he was considering hiring one not because of the threads, but because of the harassing messages he was receiving in his PM mailbox.

Its not my fault don't blame me, i only sent him some P0R*, you can fill in the blank...
hint: its something you can eat......

This is why its important not to make accusations without proof. You can only be accused of slander if what you are stating is false, or you maliciously twist the words around to discredit the institution or person. I am no expert on this so, someone please correct me.

I guess that would be targeted towards me, I haven't said anything on here that might wrong or without proof, and I've answered a few questions and given my opinion to those who asked for it, nothing illegal....

    Let it go

I, for one, would like to see this thread finished off. It is clear that no one is being sued. The bottom line is that if you are posting something on here, be careful. If you are posting untruths or stirring up trouble with no grounds or just want to take out your frustrations it is simply going to be seen for what it is. People reading these posts can see that there is a pattern among the same few negative posters. Clearly a more positive light is shining through in the more objective postings of others. Finally, let's give a welcome to all new students and not taint their opinions of the place before they've had an opportunity to determine their own feelings.
