Has anybody used or could suggest a shiiping service?

I am trying to find out if anyone has used any of the box drop shipping services so I can order things like computer parts or car parts on line?
I am a bit skittish about the reboxing and the whole process. Experiences? Suggestions?

i have used university books online shipping program since i have been here. i like it; it's not half bad. they ship anything and it's not too expensive either. it has always delivered my things in no more than a weeks time and often times even less time than that. they ship out stuff within 24 hours of it arriving at their warehouse. and you can do everything over the phone if needed. they have excellent customer service and are very nice.

the down side to it is that recently in san juan and here in nevis they have started going thru the boxes coming from the US (they did not do that my first 2 semesters here (maybe they sent them a different route??). since that, i have received packages with items missing, but not often. but i still feel University books shipping program is best. they try to do whatever they can to make sure that nothing happens to your package and if something does - they will take care of it if you bought insurance.

Fed x - I don't recommend. My classmate had a box sent this way, his brother sent the list of items that should have been in the box, but only about 2 things were left in it by the time he got it. Nothing was done and noone at fed x knew aything.

if you need to transfer valuable items and do not wish to take a chance with anything missing you can also try DHL - they ship to anyplace in the world --> right to your door, and a signature is necessary at every check point so you KNOW where your packages are at all times. this may cost ya a little more though. but it's worth it, i hear. my roommate uses this all the time (even before MUA-for her family who live in another country) and she loves it.

DHL is in town on the street to the L of Teahouse and University books online shipping program has a link on the MUA webpage.

good luck, i hope this helps some.

Tropical Shipping - The Leader in Shipping to the Bahamas and the Caribbean

It takes a little bit longer to get here but it is so much cheaper than the rest its worth it. You ship your package to Miami and then they put it on the container and it takes two weeks to get to Nevis.

My wife and I shipped a 84 cubic ft. 1,200 lb crate and from Miami to Nevis it only cost $450 US, which one big box through Fed Ex can cost that much.
