Ummm... I'd buy you a drink on Facebook? I do have a question though! Does anyone know anything about voltage on the island? The handbook says Nevis is at 220 volts but I'm up in Canada (110 volts). Google tells me I need some sort of transformer/converter and maybe an adapter with 3 pins? I'm just confused about what I need, so any advice would be great.

The island itself is 220; however a lot of the houses and apartments that students rent are 110. Certainly, the Potworks and Rawlins dorms are both 110; as are all the outlets in the classrooms. You just have to make sure before you rent. However the 'pins' are the same as US/Canada. And laptops work on both 110/220 (or the newer ones should anyway).

Not in NY but have a few questions:)

I'm also in Canada but wanted to know somethings....

    1. Are the dorm rooms co-ed or can they be??
    2. Are there two bathrooms per room or do you share the bathroom with your roomie??
    3. Is it necessary to bring a shower curtain at all?
    4. How big is the space they give you to put your clothes in? i.e bring more things to hold clothes or is it enough space with what they provide?

    Thanx,
    Melian

    Melian-

Sup girl, I trust all is well with you.

    1. The dorms are all co-ed (Rawlins and Potworks)
    2. You have to share a bathroom with your roomie, whether you live in Rawlins or Potworks. However, the apartments at either place has two bathrooms but it's unlikely that any Med1s or Pre-med1s get those apartments in the first sem.
    3. Don't get a shower curtain, unless you have a favorite tweety bird or hello kitty that will cheer you up.
    4. There is more than enough space for clothes but I'm a guy and knowing women, I would prolly have to go with... umm... not enough space. Don't sweat it though many girls survive with the one closet we get.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your packing and hit me up if you wanna know anything else.

    Be easy,
    gG
