Which States don't require Greenbook Cores?

    Advertisements

    Hi everyone!

I have recently completed a core rotation that wasnt ACGME approved. Am I absolutely screwed? Do you guys know any states that don't require ACGME cores?

    Thanks in advance.

You know the best way to know, 100%, without worrying about any potential VMD inaccuracies?

Thanks. I have actually already started the process of calling all 50 states via telephone. However, I want to cross reference with someone else. If anyone has a list already, please share. I'll share mine once I finish calling (probably in about two weeks).

@dtm1114 Do you care to share your list you've drafted? I'm in a similar situation where I just have 1 of my rotations non-greenbook. I have started making a list, but some state boards don't state if rotations need to be greenbook or not.

I ended up just redoing the rotation. It was the easiest way to do it. Honestly, being not greenbook is a very bad thing nowadays. The amount of states that require has increased in the past five years. I encourage you to redo the rotation.
