    Massachusetts residency and greenbook electives

    Advertisements

Has anyone been accepted to a residency in Massachusetts without completing all cores or electives in hospitals with ACGME-approved residency programs in that specialty? (Greenbook by specialty).

Based on a response I've gotten from the medical board, both electives and cores must be greenbook in order to do residency, but still I find myself in denial over this.

    Thanks.

No idea, but I will say that MA is notoriously IMG-unfriendly. Good luck.
