    Jobs for MDs w/o license...

What kind of job opportunities are there for MDs who just have their MD and no license/residency? I realize that practicing medicine is out of the question, what other options would one have?

I found that many cruise ships have jobs for MDs that aren't licensed yet..Most of it is for botox injections, etc. They give you training in Miami with a board certified plastic surgeon, then send you out on a cruise ship.

Not bad... if you are waiting for a residency.

MD (IMG) 2 Years Option to DDS / DPM / DC / ND / NP

MD (IMG) w/o license can go back to school and in 2 years can work as a working health care professional

Why spend years, doing nothing or working as a pharm rep ?? You can go back to school and work as a doctor, many DDS / DPM and DC / ND programs will grant you advance standing for the basic sciences, and you can earn a good living.

I know few that are now working as DPM / DDS and making more than GPs.

Not a bad alternative........another good option is a NP option, you can work as a GP Rx meds, and work with MDs......

DC / ND option is a good one as well......if you are into alternative medicine...etc...

I can't find the ad, but it was saying.. are you waiting to start residency. It didn't saying anything about a license.. and they said you would train for a few days in Miami with a boarded plastic surgeon on how to do botox injections.. and you would have to give talks and injections while on the ship. 6 month min. contract.

I didn't get it wrong.. when I find it, I will link it to you. You think all the massage therapists, etc.. are all licensed on a cruise ship? HAHAHA.. there is liability in all of these things.

Also... in many states... NPs and even RNs can give botox injections..

This article talks about NCL offering injections.. and says that they don't know where physicians would actually be doing the injections.

Also.. here is one ad.. that is looking for this as well.. and says you have to have a license.. but not a US.

    Don't forget Medical-Science Liaison

Great job if you can find it and if you don't mind working for a pharm company.

If you have good English skills, you may be able to get a job in a law firm reviewing medical records.
If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything!
