    Eat right for better teeth

Eat right for better teeth is a very good idea. Your pearly whites can gleam. Eat apples, oranges, celery, carrots and high fiber green.

This is interesting. I always thought calcium was the only important thing for teeth! Do all these contain calcium?

Fortunately, foods like candy that don't always play nice with our teeth are generally harmless in moderation.

Eating fresh fruits and vegetables helps protect teeth by stimulating the production of saliva, which cleanses the mouth and and makes it less acidic. Chewing sugar-free gum for 20 minutes after meals and snacks also can help prevent tooth decay.

Old thread indeed but stumbled upon it and it's good info. I have braces and struggle to keep them clean as I eat a lot of fast food and drink fizzy drinks. Hopefully I can have them removed before the year ends.

Hi there, your teeth is the direct reflection of your personality and the way you maintain yourself. Thus, keeping it clean and fresh is very important. Drinking lot of water, eating fruits like apples, oranges, pineapple and vegetables like onion can help to clean your teeth.
