    JFK School of Medicine Curacao

Another fishy school popped up in the Caribbean. Be aware of JFK School of Medicine in Curacao. JFK was created and struggled 2 years to get an IMED listing but:

    • JFK is not accredited by WHO (Avicenna)
    • JFK has no professor except a lady (dean) who opened it after being fired from CMU for the lowest students evaluations for 3 semesters in a row.
    • JFK doesn't have a single student in rotations nor one hospital
    • JFK doesn't have more than few students dismissed from CMU and Avalon
    • JFK has NO campus, NO labs and NO dorms. JFK is a nothing more than one rented office and a classroom
    • JFK has NO financial aid, NO students loans. It would have to exist for at least 10 years to be eligible for Canadian government loans.
    • JFK doenst have even one student attempted USMLE not to mention passing it so STEP 1 PASSING RATE is ZERO
    • JFK has ZERO graduates and ZERO residents.

Prospective students please be aware and screen this "med school" very carefully before you get trapped.

Having a new school around can create a healthy competition. Every school starts out small, and it is the quality of the students that make a university grow into greatness. Every great professor may have been fired a few times before rising to greatness. Bashing is a sign of fear, and being that fear is expressed....must mean JFK has got a chance to become something greater than other schools around. I have faith in JFK and I believe that its students will make the difference. Let's work together in teamwork and partnership, not in fearful criticism.

Here is the thing. There are several post made by JFK Official. They are not official nor professional. The grammar is horrible, spelling is to boot, and the post "referencing" facts was completely unprofessional in every manner. Sounds like to me the "school" needs a PR rep. As for me I know which schools not to go to now.

This post was definitely written by the owner of JFK University. Who does not have the credentials, background or ethics to run a kindergarten, much less a medical school. The two people who do work full time at the school were both fired from previous jobs for gross incompetence and fraud. The owner of the school stands in the classroom and just reads 10 year old Kaplan review books word for word. Studenct are paying $5,000 a semester for that. They don't have proper classrooms, or labs, or even computers. There is one good Professor, I hope he leaves before the government of Curacao comes in and shuts down this scam of a school.

This is another post from the owner of the school. JFK was protected by someone ofr influence in Curacao. Now that the elections are over, maybe that changes. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!! They have matriculated students to clinicals who have not completed the basic science requirements. The school is in an office building, they say they will get a cadaver soon. Who in the world would allow a cadaver in an office building? Where would they store it? Maybe in the same room that the owner lives in. It's true, ask the students, before they all leave. This is truely a criminal enterprise, if the school shuts down, the owner just goes back to the U.S. Meanwhile students who have spent at least around $35,000 would be out on the street. The students from India have spent or will have spent the equivalent of 2337123 Indian Rupees just for the basic science half. And they will be out on the street.

Let's hope the program directors find the name as amusing as you do!

I hope they have someone to write the dean's letter because the school's official's command of the English language is less than stellar.
