which carribean school has the highest step 1 average?

Does anyone know this? I would think it is between SGU and Ross but is the difference marginal?

    Thanks!

    No problem......

UHSA is an ok program, I never stated it was "the best" or not even close to being the best.......If you want the best then try to get into Harvard, or top LCME type program......as far as the Caribbean goes....I always stated in my posts that there are better programs than UHSA, for instance: SGU, AUC, UWI, ROSS etc......but, it is what you make of it........

UHSA will help you get your MD, place you in ACGME type hospitals for rotations, and help you with all necessary paperwork......but, by no means is the best med school out there......

However, the school (UHSA) is moving in the right direction, they established solid affiliations with accredited universities, and offer good USMLE prep programs (ExamMaster etc..).......There are just over 1400 graduates, many licensed in various specialities.....so there is a good track record since 1982.....UHSA worked for me, and it can also work for someone else.....

    cheers, and best wishes

    Carib medicine vs LCME

Some are...some aren't........but, a good alternative if you really want to become an MD, and willing to work hard.....
with LCME type med schools, the schools will prep you for boards.....with many carib med schools, you have to do much of the learning on your own......

actually quite incorrect. LCME schools frequently pay less attention to "studying for the boards". offshore schools attempt more often to "teach to the boards". Some don't merely because they can't- dont have the resources. But US schools actually very often pride themselves on focusing on medicine, not the boards, and some-often the best-alternative (often ridiculous) curriculums.

    I would bet 1) SGU/SABA 2)ROSS/AUC/AUA
