Once again, friends... If you come from North America, unless you 1) speak fluent Bulgarian and can matriculate into the Bulgarian language program, AND 2) have some sort of overarching reason to want/need to be in Bulgaria, you probably want to rethink those plans.

Ah well, if you are from the EU, then that is another story entirely. Your degree will be accepted in the EU and I wish you much success!

See you around campus, perhaps. Good luck to you!

The answer to that is a simple "I don't know." I am a rising 6th year student currently paying 6000 Euros/year, but I have heard that the classes behind me are paying more than that per year. The university SHOULD keep it the same for you throughout your studies, whatever you end up paying for Year 1... but that doesn't mean that they WILL. They have been known to make haphazard decisions in the past, certainly, and they do like your money. I would recommend contacting the Dekanat or the Rektorat immediately to determine the tuition (they call it "tax") for this year's incoming class.

If you can wait, though, they definitely spell out the exact fee (and where to send it) in your admission letter. Make SURE that you pay the tuition in Bulgarian Leva, and not in Euros, even though they quote a price in Euros! They will be very angry with you if you deposit Euros, and will actually charge you the fee for converting all of that currency into Leva.

    No kidding.
