Germany has some of the best medical schools in the world. Enrollment also tends to be more open than in North America. The main requirement is having a German Abitur, an eligiblity to enter higher education and passing score in German language test to enter University study. One major benefit of the German system is that there are not tuition fees even for international students. The sticky point for international students though is the language requirement, German is a tough language to master quickly.
How do you find out which schools are California certified or not?
And what does the certification exactly mean? If one school does not have certification, you cannot practice medicine in that state even by passing the USMLE?

hey guys, thanks for the input, but lets try to not clutter up the sticky with questions and such. if you have sites to add, please do add them, but if you have questions, please post them as a new topic on the regular board! that way it is much easier for others to reference them, and there will not be a lot of extraneous information on the sticky. thanks!
