you're a rich dude. For $700-900, you can live 1 minute from school, and by yourself. You don't need a roommate.
you can rent 2 apartments for that money and have a party pad.
Hello all, my name is Matt. I am going to Ross for Jan. 2005. This may sound strange, but I don't know anyone else who is going so I need to find a roomate.
Here is a little info about my self:
year 2000 undergrad from University of Texas at Austin
I currently live in Houston, Texas.
I am Asian American.
From talking to other users on the forum, I would like to find an apartment within 10 minutes from school, and around $700-900 per month.
anyone interested can email me [email protected] or you can PM me

$700 barely gets you anything in St. Maarten... come to think of it... $1000 barely gets you anything.
Finally beat Super Mario Bros within 7 mins.

i recommend carlton apartments or hamylton apartments. you'll have relatively clean floors and limited bug infestations as compared to some of the other apartments on the island. if you can get in, you wont regret it. you'll be comfortable for the length of your stay in dominica.
I have a question, I am starting in Jan, 2005. Is it possible for one student to sign a lease lets say for 700$ a month and without the corrupt landlords knowledge, have another student living there helping with the rent

carlton apartments or hamylton apartments----are these two of the apratments that's right behine the school and look like US apartments? When I was interviewing in Miami, some students told me about them, but I just cannot remember the names.Originally Posted by Daniel
yes, these are the ones they were probably talking about. they arent exactly like US apartments but they were pretty darn close. i used to live in hamylton and they had clean bathtubs (most places dont have tubs, they only have dirty showers), clean floors and quality US furniture (not cheap dominican knockoffs).Originally Posted by the_fat_one
