    KMCIC students have problems getting Residency in US?

    Is MD from AUA-KMCIC campus valid in US? Do people who went there have problems later on? After doing 2 years in India and then two years in US gets you MD. but I have heard that ppl who went to India for their first 2 years have problems getting residency later on in US? so I was wondering if anyone can help me or share their experience plz... I will really appreicate it plz let me know...Thanks a lot.

    Mr. Tipton... this is my first time posting anythin here. but it noone seems to reply... so can you please help me out as I saw many replied from u in other threads that are really helpful and you would ofcourse know the facts about my question... so plz.. thanks

    The MD degree from KMCIC is valid in the United States. First of all, you cannot sit for the USMLE step 1 without attending an accredited institution. In my opinion, the difficulty in getting a residency really depends on your USMLE step 1 & 2 scores. As I've heard from current students, KMCIC prepares students well to pass the step 1's on their first try. With a lower step 1 & 2 score, you have may have a hard time getting into a residency outside of internal medicine. Hope this helps

    THANKS a lot!! it helped. i really appreciate it.. also, just a quick question regarding the rotations. there's many posts about waiting times for rotations at AUA. is tht whole thing true? Does AUA students have problems finishing up there clinical rotations on time?? any info will be appreciated. thnx..

    Sorry, I actually don't know anything about the rotations. You would have to contact Tipton Carlson about that. Have a good one!
