    help?

    Advertisements

    Hello,
I am in my last semester of college. I have already completed my BA in the Social Science with a 2.9 GPA. I am interested in applying to AUA/kasturba, I have completed the Biology pre-requisites, however I have not taken any Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics. I plan on graduating and taking these courses at a nearby community college (to save money). I am interested in knowing what my chances are for getting into AUA/kasturba with my undergraduate GPA. I have great reccomendations from Professors and Researchers in my field, but I am not sure if that helps?

    Any constructive thoughts are appreciated.

Your academic background (except for the outstanding prerequisites of course) seems to fit where the Admissions Committee has accepted students in the past. I'd say the general timeframe for your application directly into the medical school would be when you have no more than one prerequisite course still in-progress (usually Organic Chemistry 2). They can render a decision and give conditional acceptance based on successful completion of that one last prerequisite course.
