Hello I am high school graduate

    Advertisements

Hello, I have a couple of questions about the twinning program.

    1. Is it taught multiple choice like in the US or in the Indian style of essays with memorizing pages of books?

    2. I am currently in college as a pre-med studetn but I don't like the college I am in. I am at Rutgers. I was wondering if its a good idea to go twining program so i do not have to take mcat and have a spot at med school or transfer to another american school and try my shot at the american system?

    3. Also, one of the biggest things people will think I am lazy and do not want to do alot of work but here is my case. In high school I did nothing didnt study once for almost any test regardless of a final or midterm I never studied. And now coming to college I can see the difference in terms of studying. So I had another qeustion relating to question number 2. If I transfer to another school would it be better to transfer to a worse school and do less work than Rutgers but do more work then at high school, so this way when I go into medical school I will be able to handle the course load? I just need an opion on this matter can any one help me.

I agree with Tipton. Working hard and getting into a US med school is your best option. But if time and money are more of a concern to you, AUA-KMCIC is a good option.

If you decide on KMCIC, look at the required courses to get into the 3rd Sem. Complete them. Then apply/go to KMCIC.

The main downside in going to AUA-KMCIC is that you must work twice as hard as US med students as they get first preference for all residencies. Passing the USMLE will not be good enough. You must excel on it to get a good residency, and even then, no guarantees.
