no loans this past year because of below 70% usmle pass rate. Loans should be back for 2013-2014 though.

I'm not sure about UJ but Gdansk already found out that they are getting them so UJ should know as well. I would call the financial aid office and ask them. From the looks of it they are on the list and the list was updated on the 1st of May. Call to make sure, though.

I talked to the financial aid office today and they told me that UJ is NOT eligible for usa direct loans for the 2013/2014 school year. Dissapointing that a school with as good a reputation as uj could not improve their usmle scores.

I'm sorry to hear this. It is a shame that they weren't able to boost their scores up. I'm sure that they will implement some kind of system to prevent people who don't even prepare for the exam from taking it.

    Wired255,

You are incorrect. I am a student at UJ, and they will indeed be getting US loans again this upcoming school year. The USMLE pass rate was 95% this year. (Yes, that is not a typo, it is indeed 95%). The papers are already being processed by the US department of education for UJ. Could you elaborate on your post? I am hoping that you are simply confused, rather than an internet troll. Thanks.
