    questions regarding 6-year MD program

    Advertisements

I was wondering if someone can help me regarding the admission criteria to the six-year MD program at UJ. I'm a senior in high school, and I basically have my heart set on going to UJ in the fall of '11. I'm very involved at school, I may not have the best GPA, but it's still above a 3.0, and I've received a 32 on my ACT more specifically, a 35 on my science portion. Do any of these things count upon admission? What about teacher recommendations, my club involvement, extracurricular activities, and my ACT score? Should I just mail these things in along with my application? I'm just confused about the whole thing, because it's obviously a lot different than the usual US college application process and I have no idea what they're looking for exactly.
I'm also preparing myself for the entrance exams. I took Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and all math courses up to Pre-calculus. I also finished a few AP classes, although not math related. I just hope that someone can shine some light on this for me; I don't have a back-up plan other than this school.

oh thats fantastic!! mee too, 100% polak as well, im so excited ive wanted to go here my ENTIRE life gah i cant wait ! i live in windsor canada but before my babcia died (she lived in chicago) i used to go there every other weekend so im pretty familiar so to say :P also i know for sure that your entrance to the program depends solely on your score on the entrance exam. if you look around on this website, the various forums have a lot of info just type in like: jagiellonian university krakow and you should get a bunch.

I'm applying to Poznan too! But if UJ accept me I plan on heading there. Do you know when we can apply to UJ?
