    Do tests repeat?

I'm just curious if tests or questions repeat from previous years at these Universities?

I have read on one of the other threads that if you fail a course like Biochemistry or Anatomy at Jag, you are made to retake th whole year again. Please if a student from Jag can kindly confirm or correct this statement and let me know the actual policy, it would be highly appreciated !

You do not need to post questions twice.

The short answer to your question is no. If you fail a course like biochem, like a few people in our class recently found out they did, you have an opportunity to retake the final in the summer (the week before second year starts). SHOULD you fail the final retake, you must take the course again (at an extra fee of course) however you are NOT made to repeat the whole year. With Anatomy, there are also retakes and I have never heard of anyone having to repeat the course. It is when you start failing combinations of courses, such as biochem and physiology, where the problems start. You are not allowed to proceed into higher level courses (pathophys or clinical biochem for example) until you pass those prereqs. So it will take you more time to get back on track.

However, just failing biochem or anatomy does not in and of itself may you repeat the whole year.

    Hope that helps

So in case you do end up failing a combination of courses like biochem and anatomy or physiology and anatomy or biochem and physiology than are you allowed to take the courses of next year while retaking these classes as well or you have to use all of next year just making up these courses.

    Please clarify.

It really depends exactly what combination of classes you fail. If you fail physiology and biochemistry for example you are excluded from second year courses such as Neurology with Dr. J, Pathology (pathomorph), Pathophysiology, and Pharmacology among others. You can attend the lectures if you want, however you are not allowed to take the exams and therefore cannot obtain credit for the course.

    You must complete pre-reqs first.
