Interested in IUHS - Feel free to contact me @ kimberlyj@iuhs.edu

I just finished my second year and I am studying for boards. I feel very fortunate to have an opoortunity to attend IUHS and stay with my family. I feel that IUHS gave me a great foundation and with any medical school, the rest is up to you. Medical school requires your focus and dedication, no matter where you are. Your initial success is supported by IUHS, but your final success is determined by you. Happy to speak with interested students, feel free to contact me

I have not responded to several questions....I am currently M3 and on my surgical rotation. It is exciting! I assisted anesthesiologist with a cardiac cath placement, arterial line as well! Surgery was 6 hours for repair of a valve for a 62 y/o male with aortic stenosis. I have 18 more weeks of M3 then M4 for electives. I will probably choose 6 weeks of NEURO, 12 weeks of ER, and the other something else, I have not yet quite decided.

As stated my lawyerdoc2b (great comments!) california has not approved or disapproved IUHS.

I am fortunate to be able to communicate with Dr. Kahn regularly (face to face!!! Great Doc! He really cares about us!) to see what we can do to open a forum and a line of communication amongst us students. He will try to get all the facts on applying for USMLE and ECFMG cert as well as info on graduates, USMLE scores, etc. If you have any other info you want me to relay to him, feel free to let me know. He is requesting me to get our concerns together so that we could all share our joys, sorrows as well as our experiences.

I am currently working still... 24 hours per week as a FNP. I am able to complete my 30+ hours of rotations as well.

If you have any other questions..feel free to contact me...I promise I will get back to my messages in between patients and consults!! Regards to you all! Best of luck!!

    hi FTmd2016,
i wish you good luck with your current and future rotations. just wanted to ask you where are you doing your surgical rotation and where did you do the other M3 rotation and where are you planning to do all M4 electives? did the school help you set up the rotations.....i mean did you do all rotations with school affiliated green book places? or you did it yourself?
