    Should I Attend this School

    Advertisements

As of right now, IAU and Windsor are my top choices.

The cons I have about IAU so far are
    • It's on the top floor of a mall. However my interviewer was telling me that they have a new building next door that they're slowly moving into.
    • I can't seem to find a match list

What are the current/former students opinions on this [and why, please], also do you have any new info that might be helpful?

    You a bold dude...

Gonna go to a different Caribbean school after you went to AUA, during 2015? At best you gonna enter the fray for residency at 2019...... With this whole residency shortage scare, you too bold.

Don't listen to people about any scare. It all depends on you. Your hard work and work ethics. You can't say that a particular Carribean medical school is not good, when it mostly depends on how well you score on your boards, especially USLME step 1. If you go to Ross and Saint George, its not going to make you have a better chance than the other Carribeans medical schools in getting to residency, when its your motivation and hard work that will decide how well you will do in your USLME step 1,2 CK + CS and get that residency position. I know someone that went to MUA scored 261 USLME step 1, passed their step 2 CK and CS, they are doing their residency in internal medicine. They were hard working. Average in high school and university. So its possible. I scored 234 on the USLME step 1 couple months ago. About to do clinical rotations. I didn't have a 3.5+ GPA or neither was i an exceptional student. One thing I had was persistency and strong work ethics, I kept at it. Ya, its difficult to get a residency position for an IMG. Its also as difficult to get a residency position if you do poorly on your USLME step 1 and your not an IMG.

Just follow your heart and try to get more information about the university you want to go and make sure of most of things before you go.

IAU College of Medicine has undergone significant changes in the past two years. In addition, our pass rates continue to increase and our students are getting stellar recommendations from hospital systems and other health care organizations in the United States.
Now is a good time to attend IAU College of Medicine. For all students are accepted for the May or September, 2017 start terms, we are waiving our application fee and offering a $1,000 tuition discount on the first semester of your Basic Sciences Curriculum.
If you took the MCAT exams and can document that you passed with a minimum 25/500 test score, you may qualify for a 25% reduction in tuition throughout your entire Basic Sciences program. Also, US students are eligible to apply for Sallie Mae Smart Option loans and Canadian students can apply for CSLP loans.
