    A 45yo old man comes in to the emergency with severe right flank pain that radiates to the right groin. His CT scan of the abdomen reveals a stone.

    What kind of stone is likely in this man?

    colicky flank pain with radiation into the ipsilateral groin is usually due to a renal stone.

    Calcium?

    If it's a renal stone....the most common is calcium oxalate.
