    ask your school

ask the immigration office at your school, they should be able to help you out with this.

    visa for usa

    hello doc

wish u good luck for usmle exams
regd the query for usa the most imp is the link or attachment ur school has with hospitals there bcus if ur school is unable to have links then its IMPOSSIBLE to get faster clinicals

the second imp criterai is visa ,,if u dont have visa approval then its difficult to get unless u r not a citizen of usa or green card holder

you shd manage to ask college authorities for further procedure for visa and make it process bcus it takes longer time to approve

or the other way is study and finish the course where u are and then take usmle with great score and then apply

    Clinicals

My school have clinical arrangements with many university hospitals. All the clinicals are done at ACGME accredited programs.
As they have contract with the hospital for clinicals, do the hospital provide documents or paper work for visa Or I have to get the visa on my own?
What type of visa I have to apply for? Someone told me that the hospital provides J1 visa for doing clinical rotations if the college have contract with the hospital.
    Please if anyone can help.

You have to apply for a B1 visa. Before you start your rotations, you should receive a letter from the school stating where and when you will be doing your rotations and for how long. Then you take that letter (along with supporting documentation) to the US Consulate and apply for a B1 (Visitor for Business) visa. You should also take your Step 1 passing scores with you (assuming you took and passed the Step 1).
