H1B cap

As we know INS is not accepting new application for H1B. I have passed Step 3 exam and looking for H1b for next year of residency (of course if I am lucky enough to get in). Now what should I do ?

The cap does not apply to not-for-profit entities or to those afilliated with an institution of higher learning...this encompasses the vast majority of hospitals, so you needn't be concerned with the cap.

Thanks for reply. Is it possible to get H1B in 3 month duration after I get contract for residency. I already passed my Step 3.

If you pay the extra fee for premium processing (around $1000 I believe), you will have your visa in 2 weeks. Otherwise it could possibly take longer than 3 mos.
