J1 waiver by having a child?

    Advertisements

    Just another J1 waiver question.

Would having a child in the US be enough to get a J1 waiver? Clearly the child, a US citizen, would face hardship if I left. What do you guys think? Has anyone ever tried this?

Oh seriously... Clearly the point of the child is not just to get a J1 waiver. What i mean is if one starts a family in the states would that aid in helping to stay in the states.
