    Hi,
I am an IMG on H4 planning to give USMLE. My husband has appplied for his green card which may take some months. I wish to apply for the 2007 match, though our green card may not be on hand yet.

In this situation can i apply on an EAD or do I have to separately apply on J or H1 visa.

    please reply

Yes you can apply with an EAD because it allowed you to become an employed. It would be the safest route to take while waiting for your LPR card.
