Suggest: Contact your school and HAC for initiating accreditation process, and also contact ECFMG to see if exception or replacement is allowed.
Contacting NCFMEA is not very meaningful to me.

Also, since Semmelweis University is listed on World Dictionary of Medical Schools, you can still apply for ECFMG and take USMLE step 1, and 2. The only issue is that you can't fulfill the ECFMG requirement even after finishing all tests and being graduated from schools. Without ECFMG certification, you can't take USMLE step 3 and move further as an IMG. Nonetheless, the process itself can be initiated as usual. Despite the fact that ECFMG has a time restriction for certification, if everything runs well, it won't waste your time.

Or, in the worst case, even if you got ECFMG and USMLE done, you may still not get matched to residency program and thus you will not be able to practice medicine in the USA (regardless of your citizenship). You should notice that being an IMG (studying medicine outside the US) is never a preference or even a bad idea if you want to practice medicine in the US. Thus, having a back-up plan, such as being a doctor in EU or your home country, is always important.

Anyway, I will be very happy to follow-up this thread and see how things are going. Hope you can share some further information if you got any.
    Wish you the best luck.

Thank you for all the advise I emailed the school and I am waiting for their response will definetly get in touch with HAC as well as ECFMG in the coming days and see how it goes.

And about getting a place in residency in the US it is obvisouly very difficult but I will try and see how that goes as well. And yes being a french citizen myself staying in Europe is my back-up plan but I am trying to keep all doors open.

And I will definetly share here all information I can get.
