Should parents protect kids from devices?

    Advertisements

One of the ongoing issues that many parents face concern gadgets or devices. Up to what extend should you allow your kid to use a tablet or smarthpone? Is it crucial to protect him from technology?

I saw a video of Gabor Mate wherein he explained the concept of "protection" from technological advancements.

There is no point to keep your kid away from technology. All you have to do is keep an eye on what they do on tablet or smartphone. If your kid uses a smartphone in spare time & the use of a smartphone is not affecting your kid's performance then there is no harm to allow it.

I think making them use it for an hour is enough. It won't be longer than that.
