MBBS English programs in Czech Rebuplic?

    Advertisements

I have been looking into different European countries for opportunities to obtain an MBBS in English. Does the Czech Republic have any such programs? How is the quality of education? Thanks for any information.

Go to the top of this page.
    Click on the "Schools" tab.
Select the "European Medical Schools" option.
All of the schools listed (including a couple Czech schools) offer English instruction.
    Bob's yer uncle.

(The list is far from exhaustive, but it will certainly get you started.)

    Hi,
MBBS is refered as MD in europe. Czech republic was good about 7 years ago now it is difficult to get in and their is a lot of competition. This may sound harsh but its the truth. As for 1st faculty charles university which i attended for 1st year, 250 people applied of which only 100 made it to second year. year in year they take money and drop students, i have now moved to debrecen medical university. not like czech med schools. better and cheaper.

No... you have that backwards. "MBBS" is referred to as "MD" in North America. "MBBS" is referred to as "MBBS" in Europe, but the holders of the degree are still called "Dr." People who study beyond the "MBBS" can earn a "Dr. med." or an "MD" (or even a "PhD") after the "MBBS," but they are academic titles.

if i am not mistaken, MBBS is bachelor degree after which you must take Master level. In Europe Bachelor and Master are one joint program, so i think its hard to compare.

Yes, I would rather go to a Caribbean school than Eastern European to be honest, and this is because the curriculum is US based

I work at a new college with focus on the Czech Republic. I have personal experience working directly with Charles, the first faculty and Palacky Universities. I really like how professional and high class they are. Students studying at any of these schools are so far happy to be there and happy with the opportunities they offer.
