Here is a location if anyone in need of core clinicals

    Advertisements

If any IMGs are lacking in core clinical rotations or elective rotations here is an excellent place to do a clinical rotation. They also provide housing either at no cost or minimal charge.

Just about every state has and AHEC clinical education coordinator just go on the search engine and do a search of "area health education center "and the state you are interested in doing the clinical rotation in.
I did my peds core rotation,ob/gyn rotation, and family medicine rotation.

Hope the above info helps someone out

    Missouri Rotation sites for FMG

Thanks for the info about the rotation. Are those sites approved for rotation? Do they charge anything to the student

yes, acceptable rotations by the licensing boards

Yes, these are acceptable rotations and approved by the state. There is no fee for the med student. Depending on where you agree to do the rotation housing is provided at low cost.

NO - not for foreign medical students

I just received an e mail from Jan Shipley who is in charge of arranging the clinical rotations for mid MO AHEC - she stated that these clinical rotations are for LCME and AOA schools only.

    No more?

I got the same reply from Jan Shipley (that they are limited to students attending AOA and LCME accredited medical school). I guess all 400 viewers have sent him/or her an e-mail and they have changed their policy? Too bad. Thanks for the info anyway.
